God Speed is growing!  InVision is here!

What is InVision, you ask?  It is God Speed Ministry's new division for teens.  We want to let teens and young adults know that God has something for them too.

The name InVision comes from our desire that young people see God's vision for their lives.  Many of our youth are disillusioned with what they see going on around them in the world today.  With the media feeding on so much negativity and materialism, it is easy for them to lose sight of what God has designed.  It is our desire in God Speed to give them back the clarity of vision that God has for us.  We not only want young people to envision the best God has for them; we also want them to be IN vision with God's will for their lives.  We want them to see life, other people, and themselves the way that God sees them.

Where there is no vision, the people perish.  Proverbs 29:18 KJV

InVision has a Myspace page!  Check us out at www.myspace.com/ihraInVision

InVision is new and is still undergoing much construction.  If you wish to be a part in developing or volunteering with this new ministry, we would love to have your help!  Contact Lisa at ljb730@gmail.com or call the God Speed office at 704-473-4212.

Join us on Thursdays at each US IHRA National Event for Game On! at 5:00 p.m. followed by InVision at 7:00 p.m. for special music, refreshments and fun!

THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE

MEMORY VERSE: Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, l have no pleasure in them (Ecclesiastes 12:1).

A Sunday school teacher became deeply concerned for the conversion of a teenage girl in her class. Lovingly and earnestly she spoke to the girl about salvation. The girl listened respectfully but decided against Christ, saying that in later years she would give consideration to her relationship with the Lord. The teacher went away with a heavy heart.

On her way home, the teacher came up with a plan to impress upon the girl the unfairness of her decision. Stopping at a florist's shop she bought a dozen roses. She then kept the roses in the florist's box for several days, after which she sent them to the girl.

Upon receiving the box, the girl was elated but when she opened the gift she was disgusted. "Some joke," she said.

Shortly thereafter, the teacher called on the class member again and explained that she had sent the wilted flowers. "When you chose not to give Christ your youthful years, you decided to present to Him later a life faded and withered like those roses," she said.

The girl understood and responded: "I see it. It will not be that way. I will give myself to Christ right now and live for His glory."

Youth is a wonderful time. Often young people resent being told that they are living through the time of their lives, but it is true. What older person would not give all for the opportunity of living through his teens again?

Those who surrender to Christ in youth discover life's secret early and are equipped to build a life that endures...even into old age.

...over thousands of years people have found a God who cares. One that addresses their uncertainty, disappointments and loneliness.
They took a spiritual journey that connected them to God in a permanent and deeply personal way. And you can too.

John 1:1-5

In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn't make. 4Life itself was in him, and this life gives light to everyone. 5The light shines through the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

Ephesians 4:3-6

3Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4There is one body and one Spirit–just as you were called to one hope when you were called– 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
