Mrs. Carol Rix, wife of Super Stock racer Tom Rix, accepted the position of Division 5 Chaplain in the fall of 2007. Richard and Janette Guy just recently accepted the position of Division 1 Chaplain. God Speed Ministry is excited to have Tom, Carol, Richard and Janette join our dedication to serving IHRA racers with the love of God.
Richard and Janette Guy of Pen Argyl, PA have been involved in truck stop ministry for over eight years. As long time drag racing fans and former racers themselves, they are now excited to minister within the sport. “It is our prayer that each division has a dedicated spiritual leader. We are excited to see God answer our prayers through faithful servants like Carol, Tom, Richard, and Janette, who are joining our other divisional chaplains,” states God Speed Ministry president Renee Bingham. “We are building a community of faith among IHRA drag racing and our chaplains are committed to this goal.
