Christian
Emergency Network will activate when the secular media gives
round-the-clock coverage, and many lives in the USA are affected by any given
natural disaster, terrorist attack, or other national crisis. The Christian
Emergency Network Web site will provide updated preparedness, prevention, and
provision information during and between activation. With over 1000
organizational ministry and media partners, the CEN, established by Mission
America Coalition partners, offers resources and a point of contact for media,
individuals and churches seeking info and support in any national disaster.
CEN can reach 95% of all USA households and can deploy necessary resources
quickly to victims, as it works alongside FEMA and Homeland Security.

World Outreach
Operation Christmas Child
Each year we collect filled shoeboxes for children
around the world. These boxes are filled with small toys, coloring books,
crayons, hard candies, pencils, socks, toothpaste, soap, washcloths, gloves,
etc.
These shoeboxes are collected year round, but the
main collection is in October at the World Finals at Rockingham Dragway,
Rockingham NC. The youth group from Mary's Grove United Methodist Church are
there to collect and transport the boxes. These filled boxes are then delivered
to Operation Christmas Child headquarters in Charlotte NC during the collection
week in November.
