NEW SEASON, NEW LOOK FOR GOD SPEED MINISTRY 2007 Joe Sannutti opened the season for God Speed Ministry at the IHRA Summit Pro Am by Mr. Gasket at Immokalee Regional Raceway. The new signs were in place to inform people of Chapel Service. Joe went the extra mile by offering God Speed Ministry water to thirsty racers and crew. Chapel Service was held in the tent provided by Ralph Hester and the fine folks from Immokalee. 38 people were in attendance.
Joe spoke on "Follow Me" from Mark 1:16-18. The offering was $365.00. Joe's expenses were $316.10.
SUMMIT TEAM FINALS DIVISION 2 CHURCH SERVICE at Carolina Dragway 10-16-05
The service was held in the starting line grand stands with over 85 people in attendance. After Renee welcomed the congregation, Tedra Yawn sang "The Blood's Still There." The title of the message was "STAND" and the scripture was Romans 8:30-38. There were many responses at the end of the service as people determined to stand on the love of God for them and not allow the trials and temptations of this world to knock them off their stand. Lots of great fellowship as we met many people for the first time. Offering was $386.81. Gary & Renee's expenses were $216.92.
CAROLINA DRAGWAY 2-IN-1 PRO AM CHURCH SERVICE 9-18-05 The church service at Carolina was held in the starting line grandstands with 40 to 50 people present. Joe's scripture was Joshua 24: 14-15 14 "Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. 15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." Joe challenged every one there to have a daily time of prayer with their spouses. "Many of the guys committed to pray with their wives daily, and to go forward serving the Lord," Joe reported. God through God Speed is here to help you live the Christian life - a victorious life. We want you winning in life - not just the dragstrip. You spend way more time dealing with life than you do the racing. Aim to win in every aspect of your life - your relationship with God, self, family, friends, work and racing! THAT JESUS IS A BA-A-A-A-D DUDE!!!!!!!!! Offering was: $379.15, Joe's expenses were $162.86
US 43 DRAGWAY CHURCH SERVICE 5-22-05 The Church Service at US 43 was wonderful! Over 76 people were in attendance. Laurel Tankersley Newton opened the service with "Highway To Heaven", then led the congregation in "I Saw the Light". She and Savannah Tankersley sang "If We Are the Body" for the last song. Deborah Tankersley had a "Children's Moment" where she not only taught the children but also the adults about why we fly a flag at half-staff and how the cross went from a symbol of shame to a symbol dear to our belief. Joe spoke on the "Real 3 R's" from James 1:2-15 and Ephesians 6:10-18. We all have trials and temptations but God always provides a way out. Too many times we give in to the temptation to say or do something out of character for a Christian that the devil uses to keep someone away from Christ. But if we draw near to God and resist the devil, he will flee. Draw near today. At the invitation, many, many hands went up to draw closer to God and one new brother was added to the family of God. Praise the Lord! It was an awesome service! Jesus is one bad dude!!!!

IMMOKALEE CHURCH SERVICE 2-13-05 The Chapel Service at Immokalee was well attended, 35 to 40 people. Chaplain Joe Sannutti spoke on "Calm in the Midst of the Storm" using the scripture from Mark 4:35 - 5:1. He played the songs of Ray Boltz "The Anchor Holds" and Third Day's "God of Wonder". Offering was $349.40. Joe's expenses were $244.40. Joe said the service went very well, Ralph Hester and his staff went beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was in place and to meet Joe's needs, and the IHRA officials were some of the greatest people on earth as they accepted him and made him feel very welcome. Congratulations Joe and THANK YOU Lord for a wonderful start to the 2005 IHRA season! Would you like to be part of the chapel services? We are looking for people who are willing to sing in the choir, lead or help with a children's ministry, do special music - sing or instrumental, help with chapel services in any way. If you are interested, email us at support@godspeedministry.com and include the following: Name Phone number Division What you want to do and at which race or races Your name will be added to the list below as we compile a data base of resources for chapel services. We will not include your phone number on the web but will keep it on file for divisional chaplains. Each division will grow their chapel service to be uniquely theirs yet still an essential part of God Speed Ministry. We realize that many people attend local divisional races but never attend a national event. That is why each division will have their own community of faith and still be a part of the larger community of God Speed. May God's richest blessings be yours. May you know His peace (wholeness - nothing broken, nothing lacking), incredible love, forgiveness and abundant life on this earth and in heaven above. Carolina Dragway Mickey Reed Super Rod racer Rt. 2, Box 122 Ridgeland, SC 843-384-9404 Great site. A friend of mine sent me this site because he knew I liked the saying "God Speed". I race radio controlled cars and put that saying on all my cars. It's a great way to express my faith yet involve God with racing. It's also a great conversation piece. I would like to encourage you to keep up the effort. It's warming to find little things such as your site to put a smile on my face. Attached is a picture of one of the cars I race. Notice on the rear spoiler what it says. This picture is about a year old. I've been putting God Speed on my cars for 3 years now. What a small world. :) God Speed, Wayne
